Dragon's Gate by Evanor

This page is an introduction to the vast world of Dragons. I'll list here some basics as history and elements. I'll also blog some of my personal experiences here. This is a place for someone to start there studies and journey with these these majestic creatures.

*** The information posted here is from my own personal studies and experiences. I do not consider myself a dragon expert, priest, knight, rider etc. by any means. I still consider myself practitioner and any infromation that contrast my own are welcome because I am still learning...

What is a Dragon?

According to Wikipedia: A dragon is a mystical creature typically depicted as a gigantic and powerful serpent or other reptile with magickal and spiritual qualities. This is the common text book definition...

Depending on the region of the world you'll find that dragons are not always serpents or reptiles.

-Western Dragons have bat-like wings and hard scales and usually breath fire. Said to be signs of destruction and a catalyst of death and ruin.

-Eastern Dragons also have scales but usually no wings and whiskers on the face. The number of toes on a dragon says the region the Dragon is from. said to be signs of good luck and fortune.

-Some dragons have feather, fur or hide insead of scales.

The definition of the word dragon depends on where you are from and what you believe. You have the right to develope your own definition.

*Keep in mind that all defininations may not be accepted by the dragons. If you seek companionship from a dragon your definition of them can be very crucial in that relationship.

Draconic Elemental Clock

Every dragon has an element that falls under two attributes:

Chaotic - the force of anarchy and the indiviualist, that which will stand out in the sake of being different and seek discorder as a form of pleasure. Generally open mined

or

Divine - the force of law and conformist, that which will seek knowledge through it's experiences and seeks order as as a way of life. Generally closed minded.

There are twelve main elements: earth, air, fire, water, ice, thunder, light, dark, life, death, wood, and metal. There are also countless sub-elemenals such as mist, crystal, poison, etc. Any element/sub element can be either chaotic or divine.

The Multi-verse

The term Multi-verse may be very unfamiliar to most, it a term that encompasses a large variety of places. Such as, the Planet Earth and the Milky Way Solar System, other solar systems in universe, astral plains, alternate dimensions, etc.

As most dragon followers know there are countless regions of the Mulitverse that dragon's inhabit. There is a strong concentration draconic energy here on Earth because of that one may come across a number of dragons here on Earth.  That is due to the Dragons Riders of yore, because of their hard work and dedication they have made the Earth somewhat of a gate that dragons of every corner of the Multiverse can enter and exit from.

There is a negative side to their work, not all dragons one may encounter will be friendly ones. Many dragons  (90% of them) are extremely racist.  What I mean by that is dragons are for dragons,  they have more faith and security in their own kind and tend to look down on other speices of creatures, especailly humans, due their history and lore about with dragons.
